Psiquiatria Paulista (2019) - Indigo Labs

I graduated in Mechatronics Engineering and one of my dreams was to work with Healthcare technologies.

Because of that, I ended up founding my own Startup, Indigo Labs. It just lasted one year, but I learned many things out of it.

One of the cool things we built in our Startup was an App to help and incentivize patients on their Psychiatric treatment.

The problem

Many patients didnt follow up on their psychiatric treatment, just showing on the first or the second consultation.

There were no other link between the patient and the doctor besides the clinic, so the patient just didn't have the incentive to go back.

The solution

An App that the Patient uses daily - closer to their treatment.

In this App, they could:

• Report their daily mood
• See their next consultation
• Watch educational videos
• Ask for support to the clinic

It was my first project for hundreds of users (we reached 500 at total). By the time, I did everything on Android Native using Java and we also had a backend built in Node.js + Typescript. I deployed everything in a dedicated EC2 AWS Instance.
